EARS congratulates Frank Tassone, Jr. KE5KQL as the 2009 Ham of the Year. Frankie works hard organizing
both the siren testing and the Fourth of July Parade, which is one of
the top 5 in the country. |
On June 14th, the Mayor of the City of Edmond, Patrice Douglas, issued a Proclamation
in recognition of Amateur Radio Week, June 20-26, 2010. She thanked
the EARS club for their valued public assistance to the City and their volunteer
services in emergency preparedness. ARRL Vice Director, John Thomason WB5SYT,
EARS President, Gary Stillman AE5GS and EARS Secretary Sharon Thompson KM5GV
accepted this Proclamation on behalf of the Club. |
