OKLAHOMA CITY MEMORIAL MARATHON VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

To register online as a volunteer, please go to: www.okcmarathon.com. Registration satisfies the legal aspects of your volunteer status and also tracks the t-shirt sizes so the correct number of shirts will be ordered.

When you=re ready to register as a volunteer, on the home page, move and hold your cursor over AVolunteer Info" link on the left hand side of the page; a menu will appear. Select 'Volunteer Sign Up' which will take you directly to the volunteer registration page.

You can also click on AVolunteer Info@. When the page appears, in the upper right corner, click on the >Sign Up= for online registration.

PLEASE REVIEW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW PRIOR TO REGISTERING ЕЕ.

When the >Oklahoma City Marathon: Volunteer Form= opens, begin with the Volunteer Information section and enter the requested personal information, please note the bold print items are required information.

DO NOT ENTER YOUR AMATEUR RADIO CALL SIGN WITH YOUR NAME; YOU WILL ENTER YOUR CALL SIGN FURTHER DOWN THE PAGE IN THE 'PREVIOUS VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE' SECTION!!!

When you get to the line which requests t-shirt size, click on your size (be honest). If you need a 4XL or 5XL, click on the XXXL then enter the size you actually need when you get to the >Other Comments= section.

Scroll down to the 'Experience/Comments' section and enter your amateur radio call sign in the 'Previous Volunteer Experience' area; no further information is needed for this section.

Just below, in the >Other Comments= area, enter the 4 or 5XL t-shirt size, if applicable.

In the >Volunteer Job Information=, respond >No= to the first and third questions unless you are interested in expanded volunteer activity.

This next part is critical! In the second question, AAre you with an organization...@, open the pull down menu, scroll down and select >Amateur Radio Operators= (the list is in alphabetical order and 'Amateur Radio Operator' is almost at the top ).

Once you have selected >Amateur Radio Operators=, click out in an open area of the page to make sure the selection is recorded and no longer highlighted. This is especially important if you are using a >scroll mouse=. If the selection is still highlighted and you move the >scroll-wheel=, the highlighted selection may change to an incorrect response and list you with the wrong volunteer group.

NO ENTRIES ARE REQUIRED IN THE "PRE-RACE & RACE DAY OPPORTUNITIES" SECTIONS!!

(If you would like to volunteer for other pre-race duties, complete your registration as an 'amateur radio operator'. Then, go back to the volunteer registration page again and submit a second volunteer registration for the other positions for which you wish to volunteer.)

Scroll a little further down, read the volunteer waiver agreement, click >I Agree= to accept the terms of the agreement. Then click the >Submit Volunteer Application= button.

Within a few seconds you should get a screen listing the information you have entered and confirming your registration. IF YOU DO NOT SEE THE SCREEN LISTING OF THE VOLUNTEER INFORMATION, YOUR REGISTRATION WAS NOT RECORDED AND YOU MAY HAVE TO RETURN TO THE ENTRY PAGE TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL/CORRECTED INFORMATION.
